26th March 2010
Say Jane The Dinner Parties are my favourite and I love every aspect of planning and organising these down to the smallest detail but I also enjoy Speed Dating, as Im always fascinated by which of the potential couples get together at the end of the evening the attraction process between men and women never ceases to amaze me
When the Music Stops is one of the UKs leading dating events websites, they enjoy more than 700,000 hits each month on their main website, so selling tickets to their events is really what the franchise is all about. Each franchisee receives their own purpose built administration site, which enables them to choose their own venues, arrange their events and load them onto the site with the minimum of fuss.
Jane continues It is a great way of earning a living were all only here once, so why not do something to earn you a living that you really enjoy? Im a very sociable person and there is nothing that I enjoy more than getting dressed up and hosting my events. I enjoy meeting people of both sexes and helping them down the path of finding their Mr or Ms Right.
When the Music Stops will celebrate their 8th anniversary of launching the website on 1st May 2010 and have a network of around 20 franchisees around the UK. The company prides itself on the quality of their website along with the support provided to franchisees.
Training consists of a 3 day residential induction course and then a separate 2 day course on Matchmakers their Personal Introductions product which is a joint venture with Marsvenus Coaching the organisation formed and run by Dr John Gray author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus . This course is actually run by Nadia Ansari of Marsvenus.
There is very good ongoing support too, particularly from Karen Richardson (Operations Director) and Tracey Kimberley (Business Development Director), whose objective is to make each franchisee a real star in their new environment.
The last word goes to Jane Jones, who was one of When the Music Stops earliest franchisees, says Jane Not only is it a great environment to work in it can be very lucrative too. My last dinner party revenue was over 1,000 and thats great for a few hours work even if I did put my heart and soul into organising it
