FitKid is the industrys leading childrens activity business, aimed at getting children aged 18 months to 16 years active, in a fun environment. With the assistance of their established franchise network, they are making this a reality throughout the UK and are now looking to recruit further franchisees across the UK and Eire to meet the demand from parents, and most importantly the children! Six year-old Ellie says, I love attending the FitKid sessions as I get to play lots of fun games with my friends while exercising and I am learning about leading a healthy life!
The FitKid Franchisee in Poole, has been very busy over the last few months since the launch of its additional product of The LazyTown Sports Club powered by FitKid in summer 2009. The franchise is going from strength to strength with over 65 classes being delivered per week in a variety of locations. The response from the children is fantastic and they are looking to roll out further classes in the New Year to meet demand. A FitKid Franchise is a definite must for fitness professionals, teachers, play assistants and anyone with an interest in developing childrens awareness of fitness and nutrition, comments the franchisee.

The launch of The LazyTown Sports club classes in these sessions has been phenomenal; the influence from Sportacus and Stephanie is encouraging children to move more and want to get active. The health messages that the kids receive during each session from Sportacus are a great influence and teach them about leading a healthy lifestyle: It is fun when I can learn to move like Sportacus at The LazyTown Sports Club classes says four year-old Daniel.

The Poole Franchise has also been busy with all sorts of promotional activities, including the switch-on of Bournemouth Christmas lights with the stars of the pantomime and the LTSC Sportacus, working with Asda to assist with the Have a Heart Campaign, getting the crowd active at The Big Bang Fireworks with Heart FM, Poole Park Festival and a variety of other community events.
