  • Advanced Coaching Methodologies -  Box Soccer covers eight coaching courses that total over 100 professional practices to work on all aspects of technical development.

Developing Coaches to Develop Players:

  • Unrivalled Coach Education - We strive to have the best coaches to deliver our program and we continually look for ways to improve our coaches with regular coach education days and courses.
  • Through Player Development - Graduates of the Box Soccer programs include Ryan Gauld, John Souttar and Scott Fraser. We wish them well when picked up by the professional clubs and always keep in contact.
  • Modern Game Links - Our head of coaching Darren Murray has been involved with the professional game for +20 years and is constantly developing the program in accordance with new coaching structures.

In his own words:

“Years ago when I created Box Soccer Training the objective was clear; create a training environment that increases contact time with the ball. A category of exercises that, not only, develop technique but stimulate football’s simple and common scenarios. Each time I look

back at the work, I’m convinced it achieves the objectives like no other. Every young player needs a variety of training environments to develop the vast array of skills and game intelligence necessary to step towards the professional game – but everyone needs the best start. For me, Box Soccer does exactly this. Every journey has to have the correct starting point. I believe Box Soccer in the perfect foundation for young footballers.

It’s for this reason I will continue to support the work of Box Soccer and be on hand to help in the development of the program for our coaches and young players.”

The company is now headed up by John Colquhoun, the former Hearts and Celtic player who represented Scotland. Currently there are over 100 sessions on a weekly basis taking place across Scotland, England, United States and Dubai.

I had always wanted to get into football coaching, but joining has accelerated my development as a coach and I am able to deliver a highly technical program that young players totally understand.

I started off with one class of 7 people and now have over 150 attendees on a weekly basis. The learning opportunities are fantastic and I love developing as a person and a coach every day. It really was a superb decision to sign up two years ago to Box Soccer."
