Bracey’s are a blend of forward thinking and responsive, creative yet ethical, technologically advanced yet built upon a solid bedrock of experience and wisdom. We’re Bracey’s and we’re unique. Formed in 2010, Bracey’s have developed a core brand, ethos and process-driven approach, and are described as “leaders for business owners needing expert advice and support.” By providing a wide range of accounting and tax services, Bracey’s have already expanded across the home counties and have offices in Scotland. We are now actively looking to expand with the right people in the right locations across the whole of the UK.

“I took to the internet to begin my search for the right firm to explore opportunities with. Instantly, Bracey’s stood out from the crowd for a number of reasons: established and vibrant brand, variety of services and professionalism. Having met with Pete to get to know the brand, the first thing that struck me was his positive approach and how the Bracey’s culture emphasises that all client work is consistently delivered by an expert team.

Joining the Bracey’s brand

It became a very simple decision to join the Bracey’s set up and form a franchise. I was able to hit the ground running with a fantastic infrastructure already in place. In my early days every single member of the Bracey’s team helped me in some way through support and advice. The software was carefully selected, easy to use and the staff all well-trained, sharing tips and experiences.

Getting started

When starting up, it’s not just about being a good accountant, you must wear many hats and become finance, marketing, sales manager and administrator all in one go! However, the processes in place at Bracey’s were robust and easy to adopt so these areas became far easier to manage. Successful marketing and support are already in place and you quickly feel the support and encouragement for you to succeed under the Bracey’s banner.

All these reassurances helped me to make the early days of Bracey’s Hemel Hempstead a successful one and I am glad to be part of this network.”

How long is the agreement for?

  • The Bracey’s franchise agreement has a 5-year term. We would expect you to have made a return on your initial investment by the end of year two allowing a further three years to increase your earnings.
  • At the end of the agreement you will have the option to renew, and all we ask at the renewal point is that you are compliant with all our operating procedures, your offices are decorated to current standards, you have no breach or performance issues outstanding and that you pay an administration fee of £500 to cover the costs of renewing your agreement.

Would I be able to expand my territory?

  • We are happy to talk to any successful franchisee who wants to take on a second territory (or extend their existing territory if available), and can discuss the appropriate fees for this when it happens.
  • We prefer if franchisees have a minimum of a year operating in their first territory before we negotiate taking a wider or second area.

Will I be trained and how long will it take?

  • Our franchisees come to us with a variety of different skills and expertise, so we tailor our training for each individual franchisee.
  • All training will include systems & procedures, software and marketing.
  • Training programs usually last between 2 and 6 weeks and are a mix of practical and theory.
