The Kcal Story

Kcal was founded in 2010 by health enthusiasts Mark Carroll and Andreas L Borgmann. After leaving the gym one evening, there was just one thing on their minds – food – but they didn't want to undo all their hard work by gorging on fatty burgers and fries.

They were at a loss for options, as none of the regular fast food chains offered nutritious, healthy, calorie-controlled menus.

The idea for Kcal was born, and our founders continue to work day and night to realise their vision of making healthy fast food available across the UAE and Beyond.

Our approach

We have an extensive menu, inspired by firm favourites from around the world, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Taste is never sacrificed for health - we believe the two are  perfect partners!We operate a strict no-fry policy yet every single dish is bursting with rich flavours, tantalising tastes and health-promoting nutrients. Each dish has been carefully created to comprise a perfect combination of energising carbs, complete proteins, healthy fats and essential vitamins and minerals. Our chefs use only the freshest ingredients, as close to their whole and natural state as possible.
