Coffee Republic is set to open a site in Bedford High Street.

A spokesman for the company told Bedfordshire on Sunday the new coffee shop “should be opening in the next few weeks”.

The company said its strategy is to expand its coffee bars through a franchise model within the UK and globally, “offering great tasting coffee and freshly made food on site in every coffee bar”.

The company plans to double Coffee Republic’s presence in the UK by the end of the year, currently operating 4 Company Bars and 25 Franchises, with new openings planned shortly in London in Golders Green Road, the Friars Sq Shopping Centre Aylesbury, Romford & Manchester.

On the International front, new Master Franchise Partners have signed recently for the Kingdom of Bahrain, with 2 new Coffee Republics opening this year, and a new deal was signed last week with the same Spanish Partners whom operate the franchise airside at Lanzarote and Barcelona T1, this time for Fuerteventura Airport, opening in a few weeks.
