Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has appointed a new acquisition manager to support its continued UK expansion plans. Chartered surveyor, Henry Snagge, now joins the team and will be responsible for acquiring and negotiating terms for premises on behalf of Papa John’s franchisees nationwide.

“I will be working closely with the other members of Papa John’s UK business development team to help franchisees take on new stores,” explains Henry Snagge, acquisition manager, Papa John’s. “My role will be to identify the best trade zones and therefore suitable locations for each new Papa John’s and ensure each site has the necessary ‘ingredients’ like good visibility and parking to make it a successful store.

“I will also be spending time on the road showing franchisees prospective sites and then negotiating lease terms,” continues Snagge. “Because of the strength of the Papa John’s brand, landlords are always keen to work with us and so we can then agree the best terms for our franchisees.”

Anthony Round, business development manager, Papa John’s comments: “By the end of this year we will have 250 UK outlets and we aim to deliver on our promise of having 600 UK stores over the next ten years. We have just launched our ‘biggest and best’ franchisee incentive scheme to-date for 2014, which could result in savings of 50k for franchisees opening their first Papa John’s! We are therefore, delighted that Henry Snagge has joined us at this exciting point in our development plans in order to help franchisees take advantage of the fantastic deals we have on offer.”

Before joining Papa John’s Henry Snagge spent six years with Chartered Surveyors Fleurets. He says: “I am very much looking forward to making a valuable contribution to the success and growth of the network of Papa John’s franchisees across the UK.”
