Feb 10, 2017

Leading International pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced it has opened in Belarus.  Papa John's is known worldwide for its Better Ingredients, Better Pizza concept and now brings Better Pizza to Belarus for the first time, through the opening of a brand new restaurant in the capital, Minsk.

PJ Western Retail Investments (PJWRI), with headquarters in Moscow, has the Master development rights to Belarus.  PJWRI, through its subfranchisee, plans to open two-three more units in Belarus in 2015, and will ultimately open 18 Papa John's in Belarus.

“Established in 1984, the Papa John’s global franchise has experienced considerable popularity and growth,” confirms Joe Smith, Vice President, Global Sales & Development.  “We only use hand-made dough, all natural sauce, fresh ingredients and our signature cheese are all combined to make a better pizza.   We now have over 4,700 restaurants in 38 countries, including over 66 restaurants in Russia, and we are very proud to add Belarus as our newest country.   Since opening in Minsk in April, sales have exceeded expectations so we know that the people of Belarus were looking for a better pizza!”

The latest Belarus store opening is part of Papa John’s strategy of continued European expansion and Papa John's International is currently looking for potential franchisees for Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and other parts of Eastern Europe.  Come see us in Minsk and around the world to taste why Better Ingredients make a Better Pizza!
