Papa John's, the UK's leading franchise for pizza delivery, has recently announced that it will be partnering with the services provider Welcome Break to open 11 new pizza stores throughout the UK's network of motorway service stations.

The brand will be serving up its legendary top-quality pizzas to drivers at a range of Welcome Break service stations at Gretna Green, Abington, Gordano, Keele, Leicester Forest East, Hopwood Park, Cobham, South Mimms, Fleet and Oxford.

Dave Galvin, the Franchise Sales Director at Papa John's, explained that Welcome Break were proving to be an excellent partnership choice, thanks to their superb motorway locations and annual footfall of over eighty million customers every year. The brand is also trusted by customers and Papa John's was delighted when Welcome Break approached them to sell Papa John's pizzas in their service stations.

The move supports the Papa John's business strategy to increase its UK store presence and the new move will benefit both existing franchisees, thanks to a rise in brand awareness and prospective franchisees considering investing in the brand.

Welcome Break will act as the brand's franchisee at its outlet stores and serve a reduced menu focusing on the faster-turnaround items, which are best suited to the transient travelling customers at motorway service stations.

Papa John's has already carried out a trial with Welcome Break in Oxford and Fleet and found the results to be excellent, according to the Chief Executive of Welcome Break, Rod McKie. Since October, two additional stores have been opened each week and further outlets are planned for 2013.

Papa John's is already the third-biggest pizza-delivery chain in the world, with over 4,000 outlets across an astonishing 33 countries. It is still the only major pizza brand to use entirely fresh dough, which provides a natural and superior flavour and a top-quality tomato sauce which is made from carefully selected Californian tomatoes, which travel from vine to can in only six hours.

The brand has over 200 stores now in the UK and plans to open an additional 100 in the next few years, which will create a substantial amount of new employment in the UK. The company is renowned for the quality of its product range and offers excellent opportunities to would-be investors. Papa John's is currently seeking potential franchisees in Manchester, Yorkshire, the West and East Midlands, the North East, the South West, Scotland and Wales.

Potential entrepreneurs considering an investment in a fast-food franchise are advised to contact the Papa John's franchise development team and find out what opportunities are open to them with this fast-growing and greatly respected brand.
