Wave, a leading UK-based international franchise consultancy, has
been named the Best Service Provider at the 2016 Smith and
Henderson Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by the Royal Bank of
Scotland.
Managing director of Platinum Wave, Suzie McCafferty, comments: “To say we are delighted would be an understatement. The reason particular award is so special to us is that the winner wasn’t decided by committee, or awarded as a result of a one off presentation, it was determined by feedback volunteered by our clients. We were up against some very strong competition, so this award is a fantastic endorsement of what everyone at the company works so hard to achieve.”
Other winners on the night included Right at Home, ActionCOACH, Pink Spaghetti and diddi dance. The awards were attended by over 120 people and brought together a cross section of franchisors and service providers.
Suzie added “Franchising is a thriving industry with new and exciting brands coming on board all the time. Some are home grown success stories, whilst other brands have come here from all over the world. Platinum Wave was founded by Suzie in 2010, however her own franchising experience goes back 17 years. First as a franchisor who built her own retail brand from a single store in Edinburgh to a network of over 60 outlets in 6 countries including the Middle East and Caribbean, then as the Franchise Director and Board Member of a multi-million-pound division of a recruitment PLC. Suzie is also the Chairperson of the British Franchise Association (bfa) Scottish Regional Forum.
