TaxAssist Accountants takes on two more franchisees

TaxAssist Accountants will be building on the success of the opening of its first shop in Liverpool with two further branches in Chatswood and the Sydney central business district (CBD).

The expansion has been made possible after two new franchisees Panbo Ye and Colin Lua joined the network.  They will be using their wealth of experience to run TaxAssist Accountants in Chatswood and the Sydney CBD respectively.

Panbo and Colin are both CPA qualified accountants, with Panbo having worked for a top 10 firm while Colin worked in leading financial organisations including ABN Amro and Westpac.

TaxAssist, which has grown to become the largest network of accountants in the UK specialising in small businesses and the self-employed, has ambitious expansion plans in Australia, where it is looking to open more than 100 branches across Queensland and New South Wales.

Master franchisee Terry Murphy CPA, BBus, DFP, who is regarded as one of the most commercially experienced accountants on the Mid North Coast, developed a network of accountants in New South Wales and Queensland, which are now being rebranded to TaxAssist.

He is offering franchisees the technical and business development support of both the team within his current practices and the UK Support Centre, which has over 20 years’ experience running a franchise network.

TaxAssist is looking to expand further and is looking to grow its network by joining forces with other accountants.  Representatives from TaxAssist Australia and UK will be attending the Brisbane Franchise Show on 23rd – 24th July.
