CLAIRE RUSTLES A CHOCOLATE ROLE

Chocoholic Claire Diaper from West Moors in Dorset has rustled up a perfect chocolate role - for herself.

For fun loving Claire has taken out a Leoni's Children's Chocolate Parties licence.

Now the mum of two is looking forward to hosting hands-on, fun-filled chocolate themed parties for youngsters throughout Dorset and Hampshire.

"I'd been looking for a business where I could work part time and combine being a mum with my love of children," says Claire, who worked as a support care worker for people with learning difficulties before having a family of her own.

"I came across Leoni's Children's Chocolate Parties on a franchising website and the idea appealed immediately. I thought it sounded perfect. It's great fun, it's flexible, I can work part time and fit it in around my children."

Leoni's Children's Chocolate Parties were the brainchild of Leoni Wilton, daughter of Bournemouth chocolatier Gerry Wilton, who founded the world's first chocolate themed hotel.

Gerry set up a thriving business providing chocolate fountains for weddings, parties and film premieres before opening The Chocolate Boutique Hotel in Bournemouth. The hotel also doubles up as the HQ for the family's thriving chocolate events company Chocolate Delight.

Growing up in the family firm, Leoni soon proved she was a (chocolate) chip off the old block by launching her own children's party business.

At Leoni's chocolate parties, children make chocolate pizzas and chocolate hearts, choco-planes and chocolate lollies. They also practise writing in chocolate. There's a chocolate truffle making session for older children and a chocolate fountain running throughout.

"Claire will make a great licensee," said Leoni. "Her enthusiasm and love of children are bound to make her successful."

Leoni's Children's Chocolate Parties are looking to recruit more licensees in other parts of the country. To find out more request information on the listing page.
