Mac Tools have announced that they are welcoming two new franchisees into their existing UK network, with a further five investors lined up for pre-launch training this week! The business is delighted to be helping its latest franchisees begin their journey into successful business ownership through the Mac Tool brand.

One of the franchisees, Graham Bateup, spoke of his decision to invest in the franchise, explaining that he'd used Mac Tools himself in a former job, and knew the quality and strength of the product offering first hand. So much so, that he decided to join the business as a franchisee himself!

Graham, who will be based in Royal Tunbridge, and his new colleague, John Bleakley (the North Belfast franchisee owner) are fresh from completing three weeks of pre-launch company training. They will now be spending a week working on the road with their regional Franchise territory managers, before fully taking to the driving seat of their new businesses. Both will be joining a huge global network of more than 30,000 people - Mac Tools is part of Stanley Black & Decker, which is an $11Bn organisation, and owner of multi-national brands including Facom, DeWalt, Black & Decker and Britool Expert.

John explains that he'd always dreamed of running and owning a business and making a success of it for his family, and himself. This is one of the main motivations expressed across the franchisee network, as people aspire to create the best quality of life possible through their own efforts.

Graham already knew the quality of the product, and had long wanted to change his career path. When he saw the franchisee advert, he took the opportunity to become part of the network and join a successful and established, quality company.

The line of Mac Tools comprises over 8,000 professional grade tools, including ratchets, screwdrivers, wrenches, toolboxes and various air tools. The franchisees operate as trusted distributors of the tools - considered by many to be the best on the market in terms of quality, and used widely by car repair and body shops, dealerships, manufacturers and engineering outfits. The UK market is worth more than £150 million annually, offering huge scope for a committed franchisee to grow a successful business under the brand.

At FranchiseExpo, we were pleased to read of the latest successes by Mac Tools, and the continued growth of this successful company. Graham and John's experiences sum up the attraction of franchising perfectly - working for quality and established brands, within a proven business system, and having the change to own and operate a business. It's also encouraging to see the potential of this market, which should inspire other potential entrepreneurs!
